We're getting married at New York City Hall on Friday, September 18th, 2009. Following the ceremony, Carly's parents, Sally Blake and Paul and Penny Blake, are hosting a celebratory dinner in Brooklyn for close family and friends.

We hope that out-of-towners will stay with us at the Brooklyn Marriott. It's a four-star hotel right by the Brooklyn Bridge. It's very close to the restaurant, and a quick and easy subway or cab ride to Manhattan. If you're interested in staying there, please contact us. If you're looking for less expensive lodging, some people are staying at the Soho Sheraton for around $150/night. It's not close to the restaurant or our apartment, but if you're comfortable navigating NYC on your own, it's a decent option. Be prepared for a New York hotel experience -- small rooms, traffic noise, etc.

If you're flying into New York, we recommend you fly into LaGuardia or JFK. The cab ride from LaGuardia to Brooklyn can be $20 and up; JFK can be $30 and up. Newark airport isn't recommended. It's very costly and time-consuming (1.5 hours or longer) to get from Newark to Brooklyn.
